New Beginnings for our Orange County Chapter of NAPNAP
Posted over 3 years ago
Dear Members,
I am so very excited that we will be starting out a new NAPNAP year with Natalie Adame, MSN, PNP, as our new Chapter President. Being a new grad, Natalie has jumped out and boldly offered to take on a leadership role. With her fresh ideas, youthful energy, wealth of computer skills and warmth and caring, our Chapter will be in good hands. Natalie is currently a PNP with CHOC in the GI department, has a very informative Instagram as Nurse Nat (@natalie_pnp_), with over 21,000 followers and is soon to be a newlywed. Please join me in welcoming Natalie to our Board and lend your support as she takes on this new role.
Our Chapter will be meeting at Crystal Cove State Beach on Saturday, August 21 at 11am (please see prior email, or email lscottka@gmail.com if you do not have that email). This would be an excellent opportunity to meet our Board, share your ideas for our Chapter, get to know each other and have FUN! Who doesn't love a day at the beach? You may even leave with some NAPNAP swag.
Please watch your emails for our (required) vote, and reply. Our Chapter continues to seek a President-Elect candidate. We believe in being able to mentor a new leader and are eager to have some younger PNP leaders to keep our Chapter viable. The role is rewarding and not time consuming. Please feel free to write in your name on the upcoming ballot. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to me or any other Board member to discuss further.
It has been my honor and privilege to serve the Orange County NAPNAP Chapter as your President these past years. My highest admiration to my fellow Board members for your contributions of time, energy, caring, compassion, humor and intelligence that you offer our Chapter and pediatric health care...you are invaluable.
I thank you all!
