Job Details

• Location: San Diego, CA
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift: 10-hour shifts; 14 shifts per month, including 4 weekend shifts
• Start Date: June 16, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an APP in Emergency, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
• Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California
• Nationally board certified
• Current BLS required; ACLS certification preferred
• Prescriptive authority and DEA
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a clinical care team to deliver in-home healthcare services
• Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose complex illnesses
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as splinting, suturing, and wound care
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
• Analyze test data to diagnose and arrange appropriate follow-up care
• Educate patients and families on managing their health and well-being
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards and protocols
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and partners
