Certified Nurse Midwife New

AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a JCAHO certified healthcare agency, providing healthcare professionals to major healthcare systems since 1977. We are looking for an Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife based in Torrance, CA, through AHP.

CNM – Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to work in the In Patient Hospital Labor and Delivery unit. Responsible for teaching residents and interns to deliver babies successfully on potentially high risk deliveries.

This is a contract role.

2-3 years’ of experience as a CNM for In Patient Hospital Labor and Delivery unit.

Payrate – $3800/week/ $197,600/yr.

Schedule – 3x12 hour shifts delivering babies in the Hospital Labor and Delivery unit, 7p -7a shift on week days and weekends.

The Certified Nurse Midwife will be responsible for teaching residents and interns how to deliver babies successfully to include potentially high risk deliveries. Additionally, the Certified Nurse Midwife will collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Teach residents and interns to deliver babies successfully.

Qualifications-

-Advanced skills in prenatal, Hospital Labor and Delivery, and postpartum care required.

-Experience in teaching child birth to residents and interns required.

-Strong communication and education skills required.

-2 years of inpatient LMD CMN experience required.

-Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals a plus.

-Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (e.g., AMCB certification) required.

-Valid RN license and prescriptive authority in California required.

-BLS and ACLS certifications are a plus.
